Camping Alphios

Olympia, Western Greece, Centre

Alan Rogers Review

High above ancient and modern Olympia, this site enjoys spectacular views, both across the adjoining countryside and to the coast at Pyrgos. It provides 97 pitches, all have 16A electricity and many have high reed screens that provide shade. Olympia is a popular tourist destination with dozens of coaches each day bringing tourists from around the world to this small town and the adjoining archaeological sites. However, the area also offers opportunities for walking and cycling amidst some wonderful scenery and this site provides a good base for excursions to the surrounding northern Peloponnese countryside.
