Alan Rogers Review
Alpenblick is an all-year site, located at the heart of the Bernese Oberland just 100 m. from Lake Thun. Susanne Knecht and George Zehntner took over the site in 2006 and have made a number of improvements, including an excellent new toilet block. There are 80 touring pitches and a further 80 ‘residential’ pitches. The touring pitches have been re-turfed and all have electrical connections (10A). Some good hardstanding pitches are available for motorcaravans. There are also several teepees available for rent. One of these, complete with bar and indoor barbecue, is used for socialising in the evening and is very popular with campers and local residents.

Approaching from Thun and Bern on Road no. 8 leave at exit 24 (Interlaken West). Head north towards Neuhaus and follow signs to Camping no. 2.
