Alan Rogers Review
Costiolou is a wonderful 100-hectare, organic farm high in the hills above Nuoro, with fantastic views in almost every direction. This is a most unusual campsite, located on the working farm run by Giovanni di Costa, cheesemaker, winemaker, farmer, gardener and host. Prepare to be amazed by the courtyard with covered terrace, cellars, traditional kitchens and other charming Sardinian features. The site has just nine pitches on a flat and level area behind the farmhouse. Eagles circle overhead and many animals can be seen, including horses, which are bred here (and are available to ride). We loved it, and it was an amazing experience!

Getting there...
The site is at the 90 km. marker on the SS389 Nuoro to Bitti road. It is well signed, but there is a 9 km. long roughish track to the farm.
