This very convenient lakeside site is by the A5 Karlsruhe - Basel autobahn near Baden-Baden, easily accessed from exit 52 Bühl (also from the French autoroute A35 just northeast of Strasbourg). It is also a useful base for the Black Forest. Most of the touring pitches (160 from 490 total) have electricity connections (10A Europlug), many with waste water outlets too. Tents are positioned along the outer area of the lake. At very busy times, units staying overnight only may be placed close together on a lakeside area of hardstanding. The site has a well tended look and good English is spoken. The lake is divided into separate areas for bathing or boating and windsurfing, with a long slide.

Three heated sanitary buildings. Private cabins in the new block, hot showers on payment. Facilities for babies and disabled visitors. Washing machine and dryer. Gas supplies. Motorcaravan services. Shop (1/4-31/10). Restaurant (1/3-30/10). Takeaway (1/5-31/8). Playground. Bicycle hire. Fishing. WiFi in reception (charged).

Location
Getting there...
Take A5/E35-52, exit 52 (Bühl), turn towards Lichtenau, go through Oberbruch and left to site. From French autoroute A35 take exits 52 or 56 onto D2 and D4 respectively then turn onto A5 as above.
