Ideal for family beach holidays, this large, friendly site is just 600 m. from the beach. Most of the 450 pitches here are taken by mobile homes; at present there are 40 available for touring, although some of these are destined for more mobiles. The few existing touring pitches, which have electricity and water nearby, are of average size on grass and divided by hedges. There is an excellent pool complex with waterslides, a children’s pool, an imaginative new balnéo area and a sunbathing terrace. Adjacent to this is a spacious bar/restaurant.

Three sanitary blocks are clean and include washbasins in cabins and preset showers. Facilities for disabled visitors. Hot water to dishwashing and laundry sinks. Washing machines and dryers. Shop, takeaway and bar/restaurant. Heated, open-air pool complex. Play area. Tennis. Cycle hire. WiFi throughout (charged). Children’s club and full programme of activities and entertainment plus excursions (July/Aug).

Getting there...
Saint Jean-de-Monts is 55 km. northwest of la Roche-sur-Yon. The site is off the D38 St Jean-de-Monts - Saint Gilles road at Orouët. At mini roundabout by l’Oasis hotel/restaurant turn southwest signed les Mouettes and campsite. Site is on left in 2 km.
