Le Courounba is a member of the Campéole group, located at the entrance to the magnificent Parc National des Ecrins. Pitches are shady and spacious, dispersed around 12 hectares of woodland. Many of the 170 pitches have superb views of the surrounding mountain scenery. Ninety mobile homes for rent (including specially adapted units for the disabled). There is also a good sized swimming pool with a water slide and other on-site amenities include 2 tennis courts and volleyball pitch. Most facilities are free of charge (including tennis). The site has a friendly bar/restaurant and also a small, basic shop (high season only).

Getting there...
The site is close to the village of Les Vigneaux, south of Briançon. From Briançon, head south on N94 as far as Prelles and then join the D4 to Les Vigneaux. The site is well indicated from here.
