Le Clos du Lac is a member of the Campéole group and can be found close to the little mountain village of St Apollinaire on the southern fringe of the immense Ecrins National Park. The site is at an altitude of 1450 m. and has 68 pitches including 50 for tourers (most with electricity 7A), and 18 mobile homes for hire. Many of the pitches have fine views of the Lac de Serre Ponçon below and the mountain scenery all around. There is a smaller lake nearby, popular for its ‘no kill’ fly fishing, and also for swimming. This is also a great place to watch the night sky with a special astronomy week in August. The nearby Boscodon forest has been officially acknowledged as the least polluted place in France.

Getting there...
St Apollinaire is on the north side of Lac de Serre Ponçon. From Gap head west on N94 towards Embrun. At Chorges join the D9 to St Apollinaire from where the site is well indicated.
