Campèole l’Avena is a young site which is in the process of being improved. It sits in a valley with a beach 400 m. away along a sandy track. There are 211 flat pitches with 90 for tourers, all with 16A electricity. Some are closely placed and there are differing levels of shade. The small snack bar and shop provide an adequate service, but remember the closet village is 15 km. away. Reception is smart and air conditioned. A children’s play area was supplemented with a bouncy castle when we visited.
Facilities
Single, dated unisex sanitary block, which was struggling when we visited. Hot showers. No provision for children or disabled visitors. Washing machines. Shop/bar/snack bar (high season). WiFi (charged). Communal barbecue.

Getting there...
Site is on the west coast of Corsica. From the RN196 take the D48 towards Tizzano, site is off to the left down a rough track and is well signed.
