Camp Sokol Troja

Praha, Prague, Central Bohemia

Alan Rogers Review

This site is very close to the Vltava river although you cannot see it. It was subject to heavy flooding in 2002 and some of the facilities were washed away. There are 75 touring pitches (10 with 16A electricity). The pitches are small (80-90 sq.m) and about half are on hardstanding. The grass pitches can become muddy with rain. The access road is narrow and manoeuvring space is limited so the site may be less suitable for large caravans and motorcaravans. Nevertheless, it is only a 15 or 20 minute journey to the centre of the city by bus.

Location

Getting there...
From Dresden or Teplice, follow signs to the centre and turn right before the first bridge over the Moldau into the Kozlovka Pátkova, in the Troja district. Site is well signed from here.
