Alan Rogers Review
Camp Smlednik is relatively close to the capital, Ljublijana, yet within striking distance of Lake Bled, the Karawanke mountains and the Julian Alps. It provides a good touring base, set above the river Sava, and also provides a small, separate enclosure for those who enjoy naturism. Situated beside the peaceful tiny village of Dragocajni, in attractive countryside, the site provides 190 places for tourers each with electricity (6/10A). Although terraced, it is probably better described as a large plateau with tall pines and deciduous trees providing some shade. The naturist area measuring only some 30 x l00 m. accommodates 15 units adjacent to the river (INF card not required).

Getting there...
Travelling on road no.1, both Smlednik and the site are well signed. From E61 motorway, Smlednik and site are again well signed at the Vodiice exit 11. (Watch out for sharp right turn to site on a bend just after camping 1 km. sign).
