Molengroet is a pleasant, modern site, located near a watersports complex and only 40 km. from Amsterdam. It is a good place to stop on the way to the Afsluitdijk (the 32 km. dike across the top of the IJsselmeer) or as an ideal holiday site for watersports enthusiasts. The pitches are grouped according to services provided, ranging from simple pitches with 6A electricity and TV connections, to fully serviced pitches with 10A electricity, TV, water and drainage. Other pitches have private sanitary facilities, others are used for chalets. Recent developments to the park’s facilities include a play area, a heated swimming pool, a sports field and a children’s farm.

From Haarlem on A9 to Alkmaar take N245 towards Schagen. Site is southwest of Noord Sharwoude on the N245, signed to west on road to Geestermerambacht
