Eging is a Kurbad village of the type found in many parts of Germany where warm and cold water baths are used in a variety of treatments. It is located in the southwest tip of the Bavarian Forest, in good walking country and occupies an open hilltop position amidst rolling forest countryside on slightly sloping ground about 600 m. from the small lake, treatment and sports centre. Mainly level numbered pitches on terraces of grass or fine gravel are divided by bushes and trees on either side of tarmac roads. Water and electricity points are widely spaced (long cables may be needed).

From A3 Regensburg - Passau autobahn take exit 113 (Garham). Pass turn to Eging, continuing to main road and turn right, then almost immediately left. Cross level crossing and site is on left by hotel. Site is also signed in Eging.
