For those who want to be directly beside Lake Balaton and would like a reasonably quiet location, Camping Venus would be a good choice. Apart from the rather noisy train that regularly passes the site, this is a quiet setting with views of the lake from almost all the pitches. From the front row of pitches you could almost dangle your feet from your caravan in the warm water of the lake. There are 88 flat pitches all with at least 4/10A electricity. Varying in size (70-100 sq.m), almost all have shade.
