Balatontourist Camping Termál in Zalakaros has 280 attractively laid out, level pitches, all with 10A electricity and varying in size from 50-100 sq.m. (the larger pitches need to be reserved). There are 280 for touring units on grass and gravel (firm tent pegs may be needed), with around ten hardstandings for larger units and motorcaravans. Mature trees provide useful shade and access roads are gravel. Zalatour attracts many elderly people who spend their days at the thermal spa 200 m. down the road – the waters are reputedly good for rheumatism and other joint problems.

Getting there...
On the M7/E71 travelling southwest, take exit 191 for Zalakomár and then Zalakaros. Follow good site signs in Zalakaros.
