Autocamping Trencin

Trencin, Trencin, West

Alan Rogers Review

Trencin is an interesting town with a long history and dominated by the partly restored castle which towers high above. The small site with room for 30 touring units (all with electricity, ten hardstandings) and rooms to let, stands on an island about one kilometre from the town centre opposite a large sports complex. Pitches occupy a grass and gravel area surrounded by bungalows, although when the site is busy, campers park between and almost on top of the bungalows. The castle is high on one side and woods and hills on the other, with some pitches enjoying good views of the castle. There is some rail noise. This is a neat, tidy friendly site with German spoken during our visit.
