Alan Rogers Review
This pleasant, quiet site is set under tall pines and has direct access to the sea over fairly level rocks. It is of medium size (17 hectares) and gets its name from its setting amongst a forest of fully mature pine trees around two sides of a coastal bay. There are 460 pitches of which 160 are occupied on a long stay basis. Pitches are numbered and are 50-120 sq.m. all having access to electricity (10A). This is a site for those who prefer cooler situations as the dense pines provide abundant shade. Those who like the peaceful life will enjoy this site. Sea bathing is easy from the site and sunbathing areas are on the rocks the whole length of the site.
Facilities
Toilet blocks have been refurbished to a high standard. Hot and cold showers (plus showers for dogs). Mostly British style WCs and a few Turkish style. Excellent facilities for disabled campers. Fresh water at toilet blocks only. Motorcaravan service point. Supermarket. Six bars, three restaurants and snack bar. Tennis. Fishing (permit). Bicycle hire. Boat launching. Activities centre. Evening music. WiFi in some areas (charged).

Getting there...
Site is 6 km. north of Umag. From Umag travel north following signs for Savundrija signs. In the village of Basanija, at the tourist office, turn left. Reception is 500 m. on the left.
