Alan Rogers Review
Alpencamping is a small family site located close to Meiringen, an important winter sports resort and hiking centre in the summer with good road and rail links. Opened in 2007, the enthusiastic owners have developed this into a good all-year site and continue to make improvements. There are 54 touring pitches which are flat and grassy and all have electrical connections. A further 32 pitches are occupied by well maintained residential units. This is a simple site with few amenities but there is a centrally located toilet block and a small shop for essentials. A supermarket is five minutes walk away.

Getting there...
From Bern take the A6 motorway towards Interlaken and Thun. At Interlaken, join the A8 towards Spiez. Continue on road 11 to Meiringen, from where the site is well signed.
