Materials hundreds of millions of years old, centuries old crafts and practices, together with the very latest technology have been combined in the construction of this environmental award winning site. Four years in the planning, Alpencamp is a showplace of how using techniques available today, comfortable, attractive and environmentally friendly accommodation can be realised. Set against an impressive panorama of mountains in the beautiful Lesactal, this quiet family run site has 85 pitches all with electricity; they are level, on grass with some tree shade. The main building together with the sites five rentable chalets were constructed by local craftsman using local materials and were built to strict ecological/allergy free standards.

Coming from Villach on the 111, in town at the junction with the 110 turn left then after 200 m. turn right and continue along the 111 towards Lesachtal. After 500 m. site is to the left.
