Alan Rogers Review
Alderstead Heath is a surprisingly rural site given that it lies just 25 minutes from central London by train (from Coulsden, a London day ticket costs just £8.00). It is also well located for exploring the North Downs and is situated on the Pilgrim’s Way. There are 150 touring pitches, all with 16A electrical connections. Most pitches are on well kept grass, but there are also 71 hardstandings. Given the proximity of the M25 and M23 motorways, there is a certain amount of background traffic noise in parts of the site, but this is not obtrusive.

Getting there...
Leave M25 at junction 8 and join A217 signed Reigate. Fork left after 300 yds. (signed Merstham). After a further 2.5 miles turn left at T-junction and join the A23. After 500 yds. turn right into Shepherd’s Hill and after 1 mile turn left into Dean Lane. Site is on the right after 175 yds. Do not allow sat nav to route via the M23/A23 (J7), where Dean Lane is very narrow. O.S.GR: TQ290557.
