Alan Rogers Review
The Alders is located in the village of Alne, nine miles from the centre of York. Carefully developed and managed on a working farm in historic parkland, the drive from reception around the village cricket ground to the pitches gives a real feeling of space. The extra large pitches are arranged in small bays designed to give privacy, and separate the 28 touring pitches from the seasonal units, storage and the camping pods. Service tracks throughout allow site maintenance without compromising privacy. Woodland walks and a water meadow with wild flowers enhance the wonderful peace and tranquillity marred only by the occasional light aircraft.

Getting there...
From the north on the A19: after leaving Easingwold bypass take next right turn signed Alne. From the south (A19), 5 miles north of Shipton turn left at sign for Alne. In 1.5 miles at T-junction turn left and in about 0.5 miles, site is signed in the centre of the village. O.S.GR: SE496651.
