Acorn Camping & Caravanning

Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales

Alan Rogers Review

A peaceful, family owned, rural site, Acorn is situated on the Heritage Coast, one mile from the beach and the historic town of Llantwit Major. The 105 pitches are mostly on grass, with a few private and rental mobile homes at the far end, leaving around 90 pitches for tourers, including 8 gravel hardstandings and 71 electric hook-ups (10A). There is a separate area for tents. Reception houses a very well stocked shop which includes groceries and essentials, souvenirs, children’s toys, camping gear, a delicatessen, and takeaway meals cooked to order. There is occasional aircraft noise.
