Alan Rogers Review
Camping Mamer 11 miles west of Luxembourg city, just outside the village of Mamer in a wooded valley below the motorway. The 50 touring pitches are generally level but not separated. All have 6A electricity, which can be upgraded to 16A on request. There are clean, basic facilities and a restaurant/bar on site, but no entertainment and few local amenities. There is a trout brook running through the site where fishing is possible. We consider this to be a transit site, rather than one for longer stays due to its proximity to the motorway (some noise nuisance) and its limited facilities.
One traditional, clean sanitary block with free hot showers (unavailable 10.30-16.00). Restaurant and bar with covered terrace (evenings only). Fishing. Play area with swing and slide.

From N6 at eastern edge of Mamer take the N101 (rue de Mamer) off the roundabout. Site is 1 km. on right.
