Excursions
At UNION LIDO you can book interesting excursions: such as unique Venice, the colorful islands of the lagoon, the magic of Lake Garda, the Opera Festival in the amphitheatre at Verona, the monuments of Padua, Vicenza and other Venetian towns. These and other itineraries are suggested to our Guests to combine the relaxation of a holiday at sea with the Venetian and Italian culture.
Animation
Those wanting an enjoyable and active holiday can take part in our animation program that changes every week, full of good humor for adults and children: moments of fun and creativity.
Children can choose among multiple activities: kites can be made, clay models created, games and little painting competitions are organised. Also play time on the beach and in the park, courses for dancing and recitation; all this to give a large space for our little customers fantasy and creativity. Each week children take part in their own MINI SHOW. Besides playing, interesting activities in natural surroundings organised for an experience of nature by joining the Scout Camp, where love and respect for animals and plants is learned. Children can meet several times a day on equipped playgrounds completely at their disposal.
Films and cartoons are presented. In the evening, children have the opportunity to loosen up in a wild Baby Dance, a regular and important date, which also young people love.
For both adults and youngsters, animators organise several daily sport games and competitions, evenings of classical music, country music, musicals and dancing events.
Artists and local craftsmen organise interesting and creative courses in the “Hobby Club”: those who enjoy working with their hands can approach with professional assistance the world of ceramics, decorations, painting, clay and glass.
