Kawan Village Stel
Camping Stel is situated between the pre-Littoral mountains and the sea. The rectangular site is between the N340 road and the excellent beach, with the railway running close to the bottom of the site.
Bois Soleil
Close to the sea, Bois Soleil is a large site in three parts, with 165 serviced pitches for touring units and a few for tents. All the touring pitches are hedged and have electricity, with water and drainage between two.
Mugello Verde
Mugello Verde is a country hillside site with long curving terraces and one tarmac access road. Some pitches offer good views. English is spoken at reception where much tourist information is available.
Flaminio
We were impressed with Camping Flaminio. It is an attractive campsite with many flowers, shrubs and trees giving some shade. Being 400 metres from the main road it is protected from traffic noise.
Internazionale Firenze
Camping Internazionale is set in the hills about 5 km. south of Florence, and 8 km. from the Duomo with its wonderful dome by Brunelleschi. There is an 800 m. walk to a bus stop which will take you into Florence.
L'Ile des Trois Rois
One hour from Paris and 30 minutes from Rouen, l'Ile des Trois Rois has an attractive setting on the banks of the Seine, with a private fishing lake and is a haven of peace.
Esterel
Esterel is a quality, award-winning caravan site east of St Raphaël, set among the hills at the back of Agay. The site is 3.5 km. from the sandy beach at Agay where parking is perhaps a little easier than at most places on this coast.
Panoramico Fiesole
This is a mature but pleasant site in a fine hilltop situation offering wonderful views over Florence in the distance – on some evenings you can hear music from the nearby Roman amphitheatre famous for its classical entertainment in summer.
Camping le Ty-Nadan
Ty-Nadan is a well organised site set amongst wooded countryside along the bank of the River Elle. There are 183 grassy pitches for touring units, many with shade and 99 fully serviced.
Domaine Riva Bella
This is a relaxed, informal, spacious site alongside an extremely long and beautiful beach. Riva Bella is naturist from 16 May to 19 September only. It offers a variety of pitches situated in beautiful countryside and seaside.
La Guyonnière
La Guyonnière is a spacious, rural site. It is Dutch owned but English is spoken and all visitors are made very welcome. The pitches are arranged on eight different fields, each being reasonably level and seven having a toilet block.
